    UK

    Mexico

These price increases are not just for those in the United States. These price increases affect those in Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom as well as the US. These price increases will take place on November 1, 2010. If you need to renew your subscription, you should probably rush out and buy some membership cards ASAP!

So, increased functionality for Live users, or just more money for the same service?

              Man MS has it made.

              Overpriced hardware, check.
              Advertisements, check.
              Microtransactions, check.
              Monthly fee, check.

I really don't feel like getting into it here, but...

How is their hardware over priced when you can get a 250GB 360 Slim with wireless controller, headset, and built in wireless for the same price as a PS3 at a 120GB, etc.

There are ads on the PS3 and PC.

There are certainly microtransactions on all platforms as well.

There is also now a monthly fee for the PS3 online if you want enhanced features, also making the last point a bit moot.

So really, where are you going with this?

IDK, why'd you bring up PS3 and PC? I was merely stating the numerous ways MS generates revenue from XBL. Obviously everything I wrote applies in some way to other entities.

Just seems like you were trying to take a jab at MS for doing things every other platform was doing.

Yeah I can see how that would be interpreted. But it's just like if I said "Blizzard has it made. They made millions by selling overpriced imaginary sparkle ponies," even though I <3 Blizzard considering my avatar.
