  • NEW: Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad Shaky Cam Footage from GamesCom

More shaky cam goodness for you shooter fans today. Someone snagged some shaky cam footage of the Tripwire Interactive presentation of Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad being shown at GamesCom 2010.

Even with the shaky cam, you can get a great look at the animations, visuals, gameplay, user interface, and more. It's a two part affair so be sure to hit up both parts by clicking on "continue reading" from the main index. Enjoy! (Apologies for the pre-video ads, these aren't our uploads. Also, we have some reports that the second video does not play all the way through.)

Also keep in mind this is all from a late-Alpha build. Development has a long, long way to go.

              Wait - what?

I thought you named one of 1231874932874932 Unreal Engine 3 games. But a game that came out 10 years ago?

Thats because most games released 10 years ago are still light years better than any released in the past 3 years.

W:ET is one of the most balanced and best multiplayer games to date and is still played by thousands of people.

ROHOS will have a single player campaign with gameplay from both the Russian side and the German side. However, the primary focus of the game is probably the multiplayer given how RO: Ostfront 41-45 was all online multiplayer with only a "practice" mode against bots for offline gameplay. Meaning, the huge draw will be for the MP with an added bonus of a SP campaign this time around.

Haha yea I used to play it, but usually when one references "looking" I think they're talking about graphics. Even still the gameplay doesn't look remotely like Enemy Territory.

Haha, I would welcome that. Didn't they come out with a new Wolfenstein though?

Yes, but it's absolutely terrible and I'd advice anyone from buying it. The MP is like really, really bad. SP is ok.
