BF3 could be the greatest game of all time but it still won't make me buy MoH for beta access. that's how bad MoH is.

Just dont tell me it will be another game in frostbite engine.....
just make a new engine with real destructon physics or improve A LOT the frostbite one otherwie we will be playing bfbc2 again, or moh again.
Specially if the player number is 32.
Specially if the maps are for 32 players
Specially if the sounds, vehicle models and textures, hud and animations will be the same
Specially if it is a console port.
Specially if there are no planes
Specially if there are no map/editing tools like bf2
Specially if there is no bfrecorder

They said months and months ago that BF3 was going to have frostbite 2.0. BC2 is currently running 1.5.

I am sure that there will be other ways to make it into the beta besides purchasing the MOH LE.

I'm sad now. with Starcraft 2 coming in I thought there was hope for PC gaming exclusives, this news just makes me sad.

Yeah, that is the thing...my next big gaming purchase is SC2. Sorry DiCE...you have not won my money back as a customer. MOE with a BF3 beta is not enough to whet my desires. And, really they ask you to purchase? It kinda irks me that they pull that kind of stunt. They should have used the veteran system they have setup and if you have a couple previous keys registered to your name, like BF1942/2142/BF2 then you should get be able to get in the beta program (if you have also clocked x amount of hours in the previous titles too.

Hell, everybody in the world that had a copy of SC1 got to beta test SC2 a year before the game was out.

But, all that said, I'm glad they are opening up the pool of people to beta test this game way the hell before the release. I only fear that people will get burnt out on BF3 before the game actually goes Gold.
