ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead Demo Released

Bohemia Interactive is pleased to announce that a demo for their recently released ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead has just come out. Clocking in at about 3GB in size, the demo offers up a look at the game's sandbox environment, offers multiplayer, and provides a peek at the game's vehicles, weapons, and units.

It should be noted that the demo offers up a sample of gameplay but also includes the full mission editor.

Bohemia Interactive CEO, Marek Spanel, described the demo as tantamount to a game in its own right: "This demo is huge. Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead is not only a simple expansion, but it's massive extension of a living world with a passionate fan community. Our goal is to offer the chance to experience as much of the new and unique features as possible. To be honest, I believe that there is more fun to be had in this demo than in some full games; the editor alone enables a user to create hours of custom content."

ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead's demo includes:
- Singleplayer mission "Coltan Blues" from the main campaign
- Singleplayer scenario "Little Bird", plus one mission template
- 3 Boot Camp scenarios (tutorials)
- 3 multiplayer modes
- Mission Editor

Operation Arrowhead takes place within Central Asia and offers up a "realistic combat experience in a modern day setting with unprecedented freedom of movement, actions, and tactics." Anyone here playing this expansion/ stand alone version of Arma2? If so what is your thoughts on the game?


***Yeah I know this an old thread, but in my search for an editable/modable PC FPS that holds more than 32 players, I find this is the ONLY one that falls into that category.
