No. as I said To be able to pick your side before entering the game, Like it was for BF2 you join a server then you get the option/pick to fight on the US or OPFor side in MP, and it said at E3 for BF:BC2 Veitnam(Enter the jungle warfare environment as either the U.S. Marines or North Vietnamese Army (NVA)"). key word "EITHER".Originally posted by Minmasteri don't get this complaint... so you only want to play on one side? wth?Leave a comment:

Another one is out of bounds,I dont mind the fact but why do you make cliffs that you can fall off or cant climb back in.Ive had some sqaud spawns drop me right into the river, sea.

Re: EA Asks "What Are Your Biggest Issues?" with Bad Company 2
I wasted my money on BC2 (even though I knew it was going to be worthless) and now all I want is BF3. We have multiple tournaments struggling to continue and all anyone wants to play is BF3. This is a no brainer, so I'm not sure why DICE/EA cant get the message.Leave a comment:

Wasn't it the weekend this when this post was generated? I'm sure when they are away from work, they want to stay away from work...you get burnt out that way. Just have some patients...though, I say that, and we always seem to have to show it with DiCE, after a decade, they always seem to be slightly undercooked.Originally posted by Mavrik347Have they even updated the thread like they said they would? Nope.
That said, they still have fun products that are still quite playable. Just when you some compare them to other vendors....
Bah. I'm still fairly happy with the game...but as a lot of people have said, you really feel like you've done everything you can with it in a few months and could get ready to move on. BF2 never felt like that. I think they made the PC version to quick to move through. And the need to remember that PC gamers are long term players compared to console players. I recall and article how they were taking by surprise when they had entered the console market how challenging it is. And I think now, they could be confusing their experiences with the two.
Bah, I still enjoy the game. I would like to just see some minor clean ups and more maps. Why DiCE always tries to overly diversify with stuff like BC2:V is beyond me. Yeah, it does bring some nice elements to the game. I love the hell out of SF and a lot of people loved 2142. But it just causes DiCE to divide its attention. It seems like they are a company with ADHD. They can't seem to pull all their resources together for a certain direction.
I say that...and I'm not a fly on the wall. I do understand how businesses seem to work since I work in the field (not gaming). But software is software. You have to think long and short term.
Anyways....Leave a comment:

Re: EA Asks "What Are Your Biggest Issues?" with Bad Company 2
the whole tinkering with weapons has been silliness for the most part.
the only weapons that needed nerfing was m60, nade launcher, and CG. now they have tinkered with every weapon and messed things up for the most part.Leave a comment:

They need to put the M16 and the G3 back to normal. Not only that but give the AT4 a boost.... that was just sillyness.Leave a comment:

I'm glad I don't play the game you're stuck in. It only takes me 5-10 rounds from a 30 round mag to put most people down...Originally posted by LeopardiMaybe in HC, but in standard it takes half a clip to kill someone so it's only good that the guy who shoots first gets an advantage.Leave a comment:
