Treyarch Now a 100% Call of Duty Studio

Mark Lamia, head of Treyarch has stated that the company is now 100% dedicated to the Call of Duty franchise.

"Treyarch is a 100 percent Call of Duty studio -- and it has been for a long time now, long before any of [the Infinity Ward] events occurred," Lamia said, immediately dispelling speculation this newly revealed exclusive focus may be a result of CoD creator Infinity Ward's gutting earlier this year. "We focused all of our efforts on creating the best Call of Duty game we possibly can and what that meant is not working on anything else.

"We are a multiple team studio and focusing on Call of Duty and Call of Duty gameplay meant focusing all of our teams on that."

In the past, Treyarch had worked on other franchises such as Spider-Man and James Bond. However, with this new "announcement" it looks like it'll be nothing but Call of Duty all the time at Treyarch.

Re: Treyarch Now a 100% Call of Duty Studio

Well since Activision and Infinity Fail competed to see who could destroy IW the most, who else is there to pump out all these COD titles that Activision can capitalise on with the drone like console kiddies buying everything in sight?

Now they will run Treyarch into the ground making them attempt to make 3 COD titles at once.
