    Steam Confirmed for Linux

It's official, Steam is headed to Linux. While it's been "known" now for almost as long as the Mac client was known about, nothing has been officially stated. Nothing, that is, until now.

Valve has confirmed to the Telegraph that the Steam client WILL arrive for Linux in the coming months. No other specifics were given at this time. As always, once more details are revealed and announced we'll have them at the ready for you.

    Re: Steam Confirmed for Linux

Finally! This is nice to hear. Running stuff in Wine is OK, but to have something with straight native support will be awesome! I've heard Blizzard runs WoW in Linux internally and it runs quite well. I hope that they'll release in the future SC and WoW for Linux and we'll see more companies move into that market. You'd think that if these guys are developing in a linux environment and them porting it over to Windows for release, it would be be easy to have the title released first on Linux.

Oh! Framerate City, here we come! What is super nice too...there are still people playing L4d and TF2!
