Both of you guys who haven't played Portal yet, get it NAYOWWWWWW!!! There is actually negative leeway given at this point. Any excuse has become null + void + shenanigans.

how big is it? Because i dont really want to download something big like that if its only temporary as it would take a big chunk out of our bandwidth allowance. Lousy australian isp's...

Jesus H Christ, someone had to think of an excuse not to get Portal for free!

It's 1656MB if I tell Steam to download it right now.

                Killing Floor says it's 1649MB. So 3305MB for both. It's like 3.2GB.

And you can keep Portal, so far as I've seen it's not a temp thing that magically goes away after the 24th.

Hmm... If what you say is true zips then I might dl it next month, it says it 5054 mb, which rounding up is 5gb... I think it may be that I do not have any of the other source games yet.

Next month? You have 10 days left to download it. Otherwise it's back to having a price.

gah, decisions decisions. Might just buy it later then or as part of the orange box. I hate capped ISPs. 20gb a month is not enough to share between 5 people

You should just be able to add it to your games library then download at your leisure; that's the beauty of how Steam works.
