The only thing they did is take the skins from the singlepayer (look at the potw) , and the only camo interesting in my eyes is the medic russian one since you don't have a cherry on the head anymore. They can keep their DLC where I think.

Hmm. At first I thought that their VIP concept sounded like a reasonable idea, but have they relased any content that wasnt just a reuse of existing assets? And now they want to charge us extra to enable SP content in MP?

New maps are coming (new not exsisting) and those will be free.. skins and stuff that wont alter the population of servers will be PDLC.

Just imagine the money they will make for a re texture and a change in hue/saturation. Couple million off of 10 minutes or so of work.

In hardcore mode there will be a lot more friendly fire deaths as many of the new Rooskie skins look similar to the existing US skins.

I wonder if players that haven't purchased the skins will actually see any difference on players that have purchased and are using the skins? Back in the days of MoHAA, user made skins had to be downloaded by all players on the server in order for them to be seen by everyone. My old clan, PMOH, had a set of custom skins that were individualized for every member of the clan. Every time we added a new member the entire clan had to download that skin in order to see it on the server.

I'm willing to give Dice a break with recycling things already ingame, I mean it is neat nonetheless, and they are likely just wanting to dish out some of that before getting to the juicy stuff, or are using it for time to polish true DLC.

I won't pay for it but at this point I would pay for a large map pack. We need more maps ASAP!!!

Paying for maps really will divide the community.

For this PDLC atleast if you dont want to pay you dont have to.

$5 is a bit excessive when you can get BF1943 (preorder) for $15.

Put $5 towards a new game or some retextured player skins... hmmm.

1943 is a mini game. Hardly the content BC2 had vanilla. I wouldnt pay more than $20 for 1943.

the skinned guns have their own stats....those extra stars would be more worth regetting if the stats were at all different.

I noticed that too yesterday aswell.

I think it just isn't worth something that is pretty much purely cosmetic.
