I think it's just some extra weapon skins and awards. Check a stats page on bfbcs.com and it will show the specact awards at the bottom.

Looks like equipping DLC for snow maps would be a bad move since it doesn't blend at all. Might not be an issue for some people but still...
The MG3 I'm pretty sure has the same stats as the original and that the different bars ingame is an error. BazaJayTee said a few times in the EAUK forums that it's just reskins and that no stats have been changed.
Perhaps a last minute change.

I don't like how they make you select the new classes by adding "Class+" to the spawn selection.
It clutters the interface and makes it difficult to add new skins.
Unless we want it to look like:
Assault
Assault+
Assault Pepper
Assault McDonald's
Assault etc.

I was thinking that they could just have added another field where you select your unlocks. Unobtrusive and future-proof.

Those who dont buy it can still pick up the kits from dead bodies of others who have, dont know what the icon will look like though.

If you pick up said kit you wont be able to work towards to the Pins/Insignia's that come with the DLC. The PDLC Pins/Insignia's wont affect exsisting Insignia's ie Exemplary Combat Service Insignia & Elite Service Insignia.

And for £4 its not exactly going to break the bank.

No, but regardless of the price, there still is such a thing as value-for-money.
As far as I can see all they have done is turn up the green colour on the soldier skins, and slap a standard camo pattern on four guns.
That is fine for a free promotional offer like the Dr. Pepper thing, but pricing it at £4 is a bit much. For that price I would at least expect a set of new guns, even if the stats are the same. And likewise the uniforms should have been redesigned a bit.
