Steam Weekend Deal: 15% Off Modern Warfare 2

To coincide with the free weekend that kicked off a few short hours ago, there is now a 15% discount being offered on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 through Steam.

This sale will only last until 10AM on Monday. The 15% discount brings the game's total down to just $50.99 (USD), down from its normal price of $59.99 (USD).

Yes it is is lol. I downloaded MW2 and tried it out for the free weekend, in all honesty i pulled a 21-6 in only my 2nd game. So its almost like COD4 only its a little easier to get kills. Its now at the same price of a normal PC game. So if i have the money for it I might decide to buy the game

For me MW2 killed the cod franchise, yeah and thats the reason i wont buy a cod anymore, im done with it...

I played it for a bit and it was... pretty bad. Fun to mess around with for a bit but not worth the money.

What's really weird is that cod4, for me, is unbelievably awesome. And forgetting about dedi servers, and mod tools for a second, it still sucks. Something about MW2 just isn't fun.

I hated the multiplayer but really dug the singleplayer, even if it was a tad to short.

You must be joking. It took over a year for the first MW to have any price reduction on the PC version.

Yeah, COD4 is still at $50 (from 100, remember, games are more expensive here) at many places, in fact, I think its still at $70 at some places on PC.
