Activision Blizzard president, Mike Morhaime, announced earlier today during an earnings meeting that the closed beta for StarCraft II will kick off later this month.
With the month almost half over as it is, it seems as though not many days are left to wait for the beta to begin.
Also of note is the fact that the World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm, will be released in the later half of 2010. StarCraft II is slated for a Summer 2010 release. No specific dates were mentioned for either of these releases.
