CBS Rejects Dante's Inferno Super Bowl Ad

The Dante's Inferno team was poised to show off a new trailer for their game during the most watched sporting event of the year, the Super Bowl. Well, the big wigs at CBS didn't take too kindly to the phrase "Go to Hell" which has punctuated every Dante's Inferno trailer to date and has sent the trailer back to the drawing board.

The new trailer now says "Hell Awaits" at the end instead of the "offensive" original phrase. The original trailer can be found below courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter.

While "Go to Hell" is too offensive for CBS, the violence depicted in the trailer doesn't seem to be an issue. CBS also has no issue with pro-life commercials but does take offense to a commercial that had two men making out. CBS has certainly raised a few eyebrows with their double standards over these commercial selections.

It's like the poet Nasir Jones once said:
    I Watch CBS
    And I see B S
    Visual Cancer.

They're trying to make money. The fact is gay men and "go to hell" will offend the majority of people who watch the Superbowl.
