Meh I desperatly tried to get those codes, but the ones on both facebook and twitter were gone within 60 seconds of them being posted, and I'm not even exaggerating.
The ones on Gamespot and FP didnt disappear so fast, then again I played the NA version on PS3 its easy to do, on the PC it wont be so easy so EU codes could be hit and miss it depends on how they are going to distribute them.

I was able to register to Gamespot for free and got a code for the PS3 beta which I gave to my friend who never played it. If I had known he wasn't going to even try it I wouldn't have gave it to him.

So from open beta to closed beta for people that pre order the game. I've never in my life pre ordered anything an I won't start now. If true, poor show EA.

Don't get me started on the EA downloader, I can't even play my copy of BF2142 anymore (which I won in a contest here on Total BF2142) because it simply won't start. I have the issue on 2 different PC's One with Vista and one with Windows 7. The issue started out on an XP machine so I'm fairly sure it's not the computer that's the issue.
I dont trust gamestop, never have, never will. Demize has said that there is no set beta date yet, so i'll take the devs word over a questionable game retail store. There's no way the beta would be a gamestop exclusive, there will be keys given out via twitter and other outlets.
Unless the beta is delayed further there by delaying the game to mid summer.

Wait, so now we have to BUY a Demo/Beta? Wow, all I wanna do is try it out and buy the real game, not both.
PC beta is not going to be a ( closed beta ) it will basically be a demo/open beta. trust me. I dont have a clue, but thats my 2 cents.. and its worth just as much as all this (speculation) which is not much.
The PS3 beta was great, and was exactly what DICE said, accept it lasted longer than originally expected.
