i don't care if it has and i never said it hasn't. mw2 is relevant here because dice sees it as the main competitor to their game. got it? don't make it more complicated than it needs to be, we're not discussing video game history here. shakehead:

No 4th is still unknown there is only 3 known. Rush, Conquest, and SDM. I'll be happy if you prove me wrong.

prove wrong? when? you guys are trying to argue some game modes existed before MW2. i never argued that. read my post again, MW2 is relevant in this comparison because they are competitors. you are trying to argue something that is irrelevant in this discussion, your knowledge of video game history.

it's already been revealed that 4th mode is squad rush. the discussion regarding it in EA forums though seem to be removed now.

i won't call you names anymore if you stop following me around annoy the hell out of me. most of your replies are deliberately condescending, arrogant, and instigating. oh and i get it that you're a smart and very talented kid, but a little modesty goes a long way.

again, read my first post on this page.
some german (i believe) site leaked the final mode and called it squad rush and described it as being like "search and destroy" mode from mw.
and again, i looked for that thread but EA mods seem to have deleted the threads talking about it. i'd give you the link but now that the thread is gone, i can't. got it?

I actually didnt mind capture the flag(maybe 4th?) in 1942(DC) for something different:thumbsup:,was fun running from the whole army chasing you:laugh:

The video has shown me without prone you just stand and die too quick,no real epic firefight battles to be seen

besides without prone why even use assualt rifles?just use a pkm and dont have to reload so often

simply my ideal would be add prone,take out airstrikes and add a manual deployable motor for support class and call it epic:salute:

no prone is a bigger deduction than no lean in mw2. i really wish they would re-think their decision at least for the PC version.

Ugh. You think search and destroy originated in CoD:MW? Pretty sure it began with the original CS, late ninties. The fact that it is involved with BF now is purely for something new, not for the fact that they want to copy MW2.

Of course DICE and IW are competing... Just look at how DICE went nuts with "OMG WE HAVE DEDICATED SERVERS" after IW announced IWNet.

Epic firefight battles? When did those ever happen in the first place? Honestly the decision to have to prone is a good one for gameplay's sake. And the PKM thing? You obviously have decreased mobility, and decreased accuracy so running around spraying your LMG everywhere would be a bad idea.

Airstrikes are perfectly fine, whats wrong with them? I haven't heard anyone complain yet.

And this manual deployable motor you speak of is ... what? A V6 with a stick on the top that you can rev up to scare enemies away?

I want to see a tank map! I like the the fact that DICE is focusing on infantry combat mechanics - as it lacked severely in BF2. But they did epic vehicle maps very well. Fix one without affecting the others. Show us some vehicle maps!.

The point he's trying to make is that CoD is a bigger competitor to BC2 than CS is. No one's arguing that MW invented search and destroy.

Imo it'll be less epic and 'Battlefield' when the jet that flies in is computer controlled and not an actual person. But then, this is BC2 and not BF3.
