Some Quick Bad Company 2 Beta Stats

Hopefully, you're all still enjoying the PlayStation 3 beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. DICE has updated their blog to update the community on a few events taking place and included a few interesting statistics.

The Beta will close December 21st so make sure to get your playtime in so when the demo releases your skills are still sharp!

Here is some fun data we collected:

• Total kills = 45.42M
• 9.4M kills from Vehicles
• 3.43M Vehicles Destroyed
• 380K Houses Destroyed
• 1.01M Marksman Headshots
• Total number of points awarded = 10 100 094 360
• Total number of Revives = 2.52M
• Total Repair Tool kills = 15.58K
• Total Defibrillator Kills = 12.69k
• Total Knife Kills = 1.69M
• Total C4 Kills = 730.81K

While the PS3 beta does end on December 21, the demo will kick off shortly afterwards. Let's not forget that PC gamers will also get a shot at some Bad Company 2 events.

More details on all of that as they are revealed.

Houses Destroyed!! lol That is just epic! I really hope they continue to track this. I hope they have a contest with all the systems to see who destroys the most houses!

I'm pretty sure you can beat people to death with a wrench in BF1943. I'm guessing it's just the melee weapon for one of the classes.

I'm surprised at how few revives there are.

I've played plenty of BF2142 rounds were I was revived more than half of the times I was killed, sometimes even 8 or 9 out of 10 times.

I'm surprised at how few revives there are.

I've played plenty of BF2142 rounds were I was revived more than half of the times I was killed, sometimes even 8 or 9 out of 10 times.

Might be worth less points this time around, everyone knows the real gold was in the medic class in BF2/2142.

Also, lol console players. I was watching a live stream from someone playing the beta on ps3... man was that painful.

There's a drill in the game that acts like the wrench in older BF games. You can also drill holes in walls and people, so it's pretty versatile.

there's a closed beta in January and a demo later on for the PC iirc.
