We've all seen videos where people make elaborate lighting displays set to music. Those are so 2005. The next big thing is to play Guitar Hero using outdoor Christmas lights and the front of a garage!
While playing you cannot hear the music but you can play by way of the lights. Those who drive by can hear the songs (and your mistakes) if they tune into 99.1 on their radios. The only song that can be played is Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson and only on the easy setting.
Perhaps next year someone will be able to wire up a full Rock Band ensemble for Christmas!
