Both Harmonix (Rock Band) and Aspyr (Call of Duty Classic on PSN & Xbox 360) have made significant cut backs in their staff today.
Harmonix has laid off 39 staff members, or 13% of its total work force. A rep for Harmonix had this to say about the reduction in their work force.
Aspyr has also allegedly laid off 50% of its total work force today. Aspyr has typically done PC to MAC ports but also did the Call of Duty Classic for the PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace. These layoffs have not yet been confirmed for Aspyr.

We can confirm that 39 positions were eliminated today at Harmonix as part of re-structuring to better align our staffing to best suit our product development plans and schedules moving forward."
