And how do you know they never bouhgt a CoD title? My point was that MW2 is only 1 fifth of the CoD franchise on the PC, or is it so just because i don't own the "newest" i am not allowed to react anymore on these forums or what? MW2 fanboys only or WTFH?

Mostly people who do not own the game talk about a boycot , and that is the reason why they are here reading in the "Boycott on Modern Warfare 2 Not Looking Good" thread thank you very much.
(It isn't rocket sience but yea, thanks for having to explain myself to someone who was not even in the line of the dialogue)

Well, I know because they are suppose to be boycotting it and I was following Mins context where he is asking people who do not have it. If they had it, then they would ignore Mins question.

I am not saying you cannot state your opinion, but the fact is that you are taking things out of context and lashing out for whatever reason and attacking a member directly for the question. Min has the same right to ask his question as you do for stating whatever feelings you have toward the game.

If you look through the forums, you will see that it is not just fanboys, so your argument of MW2 fanboys only is invalid. However, you grabbed onto Mins question and attacked him directly, which I do not appreciate and wanted to clarify.

Since I am having to explain myself now, your point was not well made as I did not understand it and I can understand Ch3ch3n.

Im speaking in general terms here, so dont take this as if I was personally adressing you.

The question is stupid. Incredibly stupid. Its one of the weakest counterarguments and defenses for a fanboy to use. If a game is broken, if someone is boycotting it, the worst rebuttal the fanboy horde has is "GTFO the forums if you done buy the game."

              Because-
              1. Just because someone hates the game and/or boycotts it, doesnt mean they dont have interest in it. Which is why they stick around.
              2. Spreading awareness. IW forums are filled with completely ignorant IW fanboys who dont even know what a dedicated server is, so they dismiss DS and PC COD fans. These people need to be corrected if the boycotters want to rally more people to the cause. And 200ยด000 signatures is success no matter what the result is.
              3. Just because the boycotters are boycotting ONE game, doesnt mean they should boycott the whole franchise. Sure, sometimes the decline in quality means that the trend will continue, but theres this rare case once in a while... and some people are loyal to the legacy and feel connected to the franchise so they stick around out of mere hope.
              4. For the lulz. People stick around to vent.

I was a really, really devoted Resident Evil fan up until 2004, the fateful year we got RE4. I was hopeful that CAPCOM turned around with RE5, but they didnt. But lots of trolling, lulz and "noob-bashing" was had up until 2009. And of course, lots of hope was required to stick around.

So, gentlemen, stop asking stupid rhetorical questions. Once again, Crunch, this was a general barrage of a post, not directed at anyone. If you feel its offensive, please take it down.

I do not and I agree. My point on the matter is Min was asking a question. Was it stupid or ill thought out? Maybe, I dont know that, it wasnt my question. My point is I dont go around deleting posts for people that disagree and I dont go around attacking people with different opinions. We agree to disagree and life goes on. You dont attack someone and say, "What the **** you have to say about it *****." (Not that anyone has said that) There are better ways of addresing it. Ive had to close a number of posts because they fell apart because of this.

Thats my point. Only one I have. "fanboys" and "haters" have a right to be here and state their arguements about the game, not each other. Actually, even each other if it can be done right.

Its OK to agree with Chris, he makes a lot of sense a lot of the time. I dont always agree with him either, but a lot of times I do and thats OK.

Anyway, this entire thing is off topic. I think its all done and please keep the conversation on topic or myself or another admin will have to just go through the entire post and remove everything that is off topic.

Also, feel free to PM me if you have an issue or Jomamaz if you think I am being abusive or whatever, as he is the Site Director.

Re: Boycott on Modern Warfare 2 Not Looking Good

lol i can't believe someone got offended by that and thought i was passing a "judgment". lol, tell me where in my question i was judging anybody. i was trying to say nicely that you haters were getting very annoying, coming into every MW2 thread and trying to rain down on our parade. to be honest, the only judging going on in these MW2 threads are the haters passing judgment on people who bought the game, calling us traitors. what's the point? we already bought our games, have it linked to our steam accounts, and so there's no going back. trying to convince what we did was wrong ain't going to change a thing since we can't take it back. and for the record, most of us are okay with the game. yes, it has issues but for the most part it is very clear that the ones who actually gave it a chance have accepted the game for what it is.

my question wasn't an actual question, yes it was rhetorical question. some of you haters were getting very annoying and it does raise the question why even bother hanging out in these MW2 threads. of course you guys can hang out anywhere in these forums, but my question was regarding specifically to the MW2 threads. it was getting to the point where our discussions about the actual game were being hijacked by haters inappropriately bashing. it's just ridiculous how far the haters were taking things, trying to use every little thing to ridicule the game and the players.

it's funny how sensitive some of the haters are, yet they have no idea how judgmental and ridiculing some of them have been.
