32 Players For PC Version of 1943

A new tweet from Alan Kertz, otherwise known as Demize99, has announced the a 32 player limit for the PC version of Battlefield 1943. Here is exactly what he had to say:

It's brief, yes, but it gets the message across. Personally, I see this as good news, knowing that DICE isn't cutting the limit down on us. Do you think this is a good decision, or should the max player limit be even higher?

Depends on the map.

32 player maps in BF2 with 64 players @500-800 tickets is the best combination.

Lame. Give 64 players. Only 32 is lame! If 64 players is too many then people won't join the servers and/or the servers will drop it to 32. No reason to not allow 64. There are people who will want 64.

this is sold old *** news.

on the 1943 and bad company 1 update ticker thing, it says that 1943 has 32 player support. server browser's and joystick support (probably for the planes)

i just want the news on when it comes out

better than console version i guess. though my preference would've been scale the maps bigger and make it 48-64 players. all this time they took, they could've scaled the maps.

totally have been forgetting about this game with all the MW2 hooplah and BC2 updates.

It might be too high if the maps aren't adjusted to more players.

Not a fan of ramming more players into a server just "because we can".

I've never been so confused. The release date for this is when? It would seem stupid to release this after or right before BC2 is released. So is this gonna be in december or early early january.
