It has been confirmed today that Bruce Willis will star as Kane in the upcoming Kane & Lynch film. The news was shared by Producer, Adrian Askarieh.

What's the latest on Kane & Lynch?

Kane and Lynch will start filming in March of 2010. Bruce Willis will star as Kane, and we're about to start casting Lynch. Lionsgate is the distributor, Millennium is financing and the movie, after two and a half years of false starts, is finally going into production.

How did you end up attracting Bruce Willis to a video game movie?

The script has been incredibly well-received around town. After Bruce Willis read it, he called it one of the best action scripts he's ever read, and Bruce is an expert in terms of action scripts because he's read everything over the last 20 years.

Filming on the Kane & Lynch film is slated to begin in March. While it will borrow some plot elements from the game it will not be an exact remake of the game's plot. Simon Crane is on board as the director. Crane had a hand in films such as Troy, Tomb Raider, and the original Hitman film.

Speaking of the Hitman movie sequel, word is that the film is currently "in development."

Two games only out there. The first Mortal Combat and Silent Hill. Boob Raider was only good because it was Jolie and the movie didnt *just suck*.
