    The Beatles Rock Band - Abbey Road Full Album Incoming

    Harmonix and MTV Games announce that Abbey Road will be the first full album release coming to The Beatles Rock Band.

    Right now, the songs of “Come Together,” “Something,” “Octopus’s Garden,” “I Want You (She’s So Heavy),” “Here Comes The Sun,” and “The End” are already included on the game disc. However, the rest of the Abbey Road album, including the B-side tracks will soon complete the deal.
    Individual Abbey Road singles: “Maxwell's Silver Hammer,” “Oh! Darling,” and “Because”
    Price: $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per each individual track

    The “Complete The Album Pack” features:
    • Abbey Road singles: “Maxwell's Silver Hammer,” “Oh! Darling,” and “Because”
    • The entire Abbey Road B-side 16 minute medley that includes: “You Never Give Me Your Money,” “Sun King,” “Mean Mr. Mustard,” “Polythene Pam,” “She Came in Through the Bathroom Window,” “Golden Slumbers,” “Carry That Weight” and “The End”
    • Additionally, the following songs from Abbey Road can also be played as 1-to-3-song sets, based on how they were recorded / composed:
    o “You Never Give Me Your Money”
    o “Sun King”/ “Mean Mr. Mustard”
    o “Polythene Pam”/ “She Came in Through the Bathroom Window”
    o “Golden Slumbers”/ “Carry That Weight”/ “The End”*

    The above tracks will hit the Playstation 3 on October 22 and the Xbox 360 on October 20. For Wii owners of The Beatles, hit the jump for the DLC details specific to your console.

    Other albums coming to The Beatles Rock Band include "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" in November, and "Rubber Soul" in December.

    This news also comes with word that The Beatles Rock Band was the number one selling music video game for September 2009. It kicked butt in both units sold and revenues. Overall amongst all games, it was #2 in revenue and #3 in terms of number of units sold. This means that The Beatles beat out its closest competitor, Guitar Hero 5 throughout the month of September.

    Yeaaaaaaaaah, my favourite album.
    Might buy this for my family for christmas just so I can play it, none of them have ever played Rock Band or even like The Beatles but i want it!
