Having spoken to my store, they are not aware of any product release changes for MW2. The listing does change every week, so i'm gonna check the UK dates regularly (untill we get a proper IW answer)

I just can't believe that "alot" of gaming news sites would post this content. It is ALL from one source and has NOT been confirmed by anyone that knows what they are talking about. News sites need to start being a little more selective in what they are posting. Random unconfirmed stuff shouldn't be posted at all by worthwhile news sites. All I know is that Electronic Theatre is getting exactly what they wanted and that is a TON of hits from there, links on other gaming sites, etc. It was a great move on their part to instantly increase their popularity and bump their Google PageRank big time. They will benefit in many ways from the extra loads of traffic. I'm sure this rumor will be dispelled, but you know what, that's alright too because when people say, hey, this website Electronic Theatre lied! Guess what, they are getting even more traffic and referrals to their website. Sometimes playing dirty games does win I guess. Just hope this will smear their reputation across the gaming community and people stop going to their site or listening to anything they say. Might take a while but that's what SHOULD happen, now whether it will or not is yet to be seen.

They changed the date last friday, ONE WEEK AGO!, long before the "rumour" started.

Now that is interesting news there. Many are blaming a website for the rumor, but if this was happening before, who knows what that means.
