It's because of the game name. When you hear Bad Company, you think of that Battlefield game that never came to PC.

Now, take everything you could wish for in a game, and slap the name BF3 on it. Every one has so high thoughts of that game when we have absolutely no idea what it's all about.

"I'll wait for BF3" - why should you? It could be years until it's released and you have no freaking idea how it's going to be. You might as well save yourself for the next Hello Kitty game because maybe that game has everything you wished for.

I'm very much looking forward to BC2 even if I really prefer much more fast paced games - DICE means quality and I haven't seen them make a bad game yet. A bit buggy perhaps, but not more than that. Mirrors Edge was amazing and Bad Company and BF1943 has some of the best sound ever in a game.

how about stop blurring what's actual gameplay and what's prefabricated cinematics by putting the green names above the heads at the end.

are they trying to make us believe we've been watching actual gameplay or something?

It`s pretty ****ing obvious they wanted to show us that you can have just as much fun in the game as watching the trailer was, not that everything you saw in the trailer is exactly how the game plays out.

They did a pretty good job. I get a hardon for anything russian in an FPS.

I don't think they have but i can see the max being maybe 48 (possibly 64 and we might see a number limit increase in BF3)
