Bare in mind that some of the textures and stuff are probably placeholders from L4D1, just like they changed a lot of stuff on the first one before release. But I'll have to see some real improvements before I think of buying this. it looks more like an expansion pack than a full game.

I do like the setting, though. The characters are really cool. Cajun rednecks + axes + shotguns + zombies = win.

I really hope they add new boss zombies, or this could be rather boring.

edit: IGN has a lot of short clips showing off the gameplay on their site, so you might want to check those out.

This is nothing like Valve, they don't release crappy games like EA always does. BF2142 comes into my mind.

My only advice to everyone is: Do NOT buy this game, modders can recreate L4D2 with the L4D Authoring Tools, so just wait till modders come out with the L4D2 L4D mod and then you can play it for free.

I wouldnt mind paying another £10-20 on some new dlc, but yes paying full price seems like abit of a rip off.

the game looks very interesting for some reason I am more interested in this then just Left 4 Dead even though I only played the singleplayer part of it.

Too soon.
I was looking forward to Episode 3 or Portal 2 but I wasn't expecting this. This is not valve. It isn't remotely close to valve time either.

Instead this is thrown in the faces of PC gamers

when I first read about that it simultaneously created two thoughts rage and laughter.

After L4D1, which lets face it was not finished, a pretty flawed game and tbh did not carry my attention (but was priced like it was the next HL or something) and then for this to be developed so soon after and again charged at full price? Because it warrants being a full sequel? LOL

I smell and call BS, it must be some form of subliminal advertising by EA, I furthermore call lols on the still lack of EP3 news; Valve are starting to get on my nerves.
