Oh, and just so no one is going to be surprised, this game is probably going to have a perk system and rankings to unlock weapons and play kinda like CoD4 and 5.

CoD4 was huge b/c it was different (mainly for the CoD series, and compared to some other games also), CoD6 is going to have to be 3x more amazing to get the same reaction. Sequels in movies are hardly ever as good as the original. BUT, there are the few where the sequel is better. IW can do it, if they want to, but will they step out far enough on a limb? We will see.

True. As I said before, IW IMO, seems to take the safer route with their games. Not a bad thing at all as they usually have a stable, popular game, but I like the more creative, risky game that may be amazing or end up making some people upset. For example, CoD:WW had a lot of problems in the beginning, but b/c of the creativity and unique fun, I prefer that game over CoD4 which got old quicker to me. Great, solid game, but it didn't have that extra oomph for me.

However, CoD4 was going out on a limb for IW as they had done the "WWII thing" for quite some time, so if they can push that, going out of their safety zone, for this game, we could be in for a great game...AND, if they listened to much of the valid complaints i.e. martyrdom and the nade fest that is CoD4 with the small maps.

I know its crazy, but I am really looking forward to hearing all the whiners cry how its like CoD4 or a CoD4 mod and not like CoD2/UO.

I don't know if this is legit or bs or if it has been posted/discussed before (tis pretty old so probably has but IDGAF)..

This is apparently leaked info describing a few key details about the game.. O_o

* Vehicles will be in MW2
* M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not)
* Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes
* M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed
* Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return
* There are more unknown weapons that will not return
* New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces)
* New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant)
* New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces)
* Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35
* Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return
* Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return
* Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original)
* Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1's campaign)
* All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered
* All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions
* New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy's Intel)
* New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy
* Solider customization for each class (and each country)
* Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer
* There are NO bots in local multiplayer
* Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown
* NO guest players online, 1 player per console
* Killcam save feature
* There is blood and gore
* Offline/Online Co-op
* Story takes place in the Middle East
* Role as US marines return
* Ken Lally voice work in campaign
* Release is set for sometime in November
* New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls)
* Campaign-only weapons

^ Yeah that stuff was leaked awhile back. I think I remember 402 coming straight out and saying the list was BS (not that some of the things might not be right from sheer guessing, but just that there was no legit source).

If you read through the list and with the information we have been now given, you can see a lot of it is already false. Some of it was CoD5 changes, like the torso OHK and vehicles.

Its also geared entirely toward console with no mention of PC stuff at all, like "Hardcore this time." and "No guest".

Of course, you never know what is true. A lot of the rumors on CoD5 were true until Treyarch decided to take the stuff out, like the swimming and play dead perk.
