Full Modern Warfare 2 Trailer, RELEASED!

As promised by Activision, tonight we saw the 60 second teaser of Modern Warfare 2 on TNT. Activision has now released the extended two minute version of that trailer. Take a look:

That was crappy, I'm fed up of game studios not including any gameplay footage in their trailers, wtf? if you want to make a movie do it, but in a game show the ****ing gameplay footage.

Just like with the magazine pics, a lot of it is real gameplay footage, but shot from a different angle. I believe that was the same for these videos. There are other times in this trailer where it's real gameplay footage, but it looks like they're in 'free mode' following so they could make the video. Check out this pic below, blurry, but you see the "Checkpoint Reached".



I hope this game is a little more 'real' and gruesome and I think it might be. It won't be as violent/gory as CoD:WW, but I can tell, or hope, that instead of the ghey knife slashing from 10' away, you now actually stab people again. :thumbsup:

Anyway that snow mission looks awesome! I REALLY hope that castle is a MP map..

Jeez, guys. This was just the first full reveal trailer for the game. There's 5 1/2 months until MW2 is released...they can't show you everything up front, or there's nothing to market later on. Just like with COD4, there will be more vids of both SP and MP in the coming months, you can bet on it.

Have a little patience. Not everything has to be instant gratification.

Im sure Infinity Ward has somthing cooking for E3 as well.

As others said, much of this was actual gameplay. SP gameplay. But like COD4, for the vids, they used an external free cam to record these movies, which makes it look like a cut scene.

Again, I'll remind people of the ghillie suit sniper mission on COD4...when the vids came out, people thought it was all cut scenes. But it was gameplay, just recorded from a different view (not first person).

I think its ingame footage, just the heavily scripted parts.

Look at call of duty 4, there were loads of scripted events that happened during play.
