A prequel to Mass Effect 2 is headed to the iPhone. The game is a top-down shooter that sports some rather unique, cartoony visuals.
A survey for the upcoming iPhone game reveals a few basic plot elements. You play as Jacob Taylor, a "biotic-powered super-soldier who stumbles across a plot to terrorize civilization's greatest beacon of hope." Gamers will explore some of the backstory that leads in to Mass Effect 2, including some Mass Effect 2 character background information.
The game is said to be around two hours long and will sell for just $2.99. If successful, BioWare may look into adding on to the mobile series in the future.
The same survey also mentioned the possibility of a Dragon Age mobile title. If anything more develops on Mass Effect or Dragon Age on the iPhone, we'll be sure and let you know.
