New ArmA II Screens and European Release Date

505 Games has confirmed to Eurogamer that ArmA II (Armed Assault II) will be released into the European market on June 26. The Bohemia Interactive developed title will place you in one of the most realistic and tactical shooters available when it's released.

Eurogamer also snagged a few new screenshots, all of which can be found below.

ArmA II is in development for both the Xbox 360 and the PC. A tentative North American "pre-release" date is set for May 29 for the PC and June 1 for the Xbox 360.

Lots of interesting shooters coming out this summer/fall/winter (ArmA2, OPF2, BF:1943, MW2, BF:BC2). Should be fun.

Looks fantastic. They've done some really nice work with the vehicles. I never bought ARMA because I played the demo and it was too glitchy and unoptimized. But from the looks of the screens, videos and what the ARMA community is saying, I think they've really been improving. I think I might buy this if the demo is decent. :)
