Wouldn't that make it even harder to use, though, since the gun and bracket would cover the rest of your view?

So I've just installed the patch and it seems that at least one boosterpack map is inside. I've never dowloaded any boosterpack and now after patching taraba quarry appeared in my levels directory. With both client and server.zips

Maybe they snuck another map in?

Either that, or there were updates for that particular SF map that they felt could be patched through this patch (which might also explain why it's so massive, as it may contain patched SF content)

          A) That map isn't from SF.

          B) That's not how the patches work. If RTPatcher doesn't find the file it doesn't/can't update. The patch doesn't contain the whole map it only contains the changed files to update it.

Knowing DICE this is probably an accident.

No, I mean like mounted where the scope would be, or maybe on the left side of the gun. I've thought about this a few times.

                    Taraba quarry, is that EF?

Because they no longer use RTPatch, they had to include the full editions of all the modified archives, so they had to include the map files to patch the maps. It still won't let you play the EF/AF maps if they're not registered to your account.

Any chance of a US server to play on?

Didn't know Norway was a major market for BF2.

Any ell completly lost their controls? Couldn't fly with aircraft or heli with my joystick! Had to reset controls, and remove "second" option fir acceleration etc. Localization file lost too, my fault perhaps. F35 is better than in 1.41. Widescreen support !! G36E HUD works now..

Why did they stop using RTPatch? Downloading a 1.3GB patch seems like a bit of an inconvenience if you ask me. :P
