Hmmm, looks kind of boring and a little too casual for my liking. Sound effects seem extremely "tacky" and vehicle controls don't look crash hot. Especially when the jeep doesn't run over anybody. Will probably have a go seeing it has the Battlefield name, but can't seem myself sticking with it for long.

Just my 2 cents...

I know a few people that are completely crazy and think it's the best game ever... and more than a few people have bought themselves new clothes and weapons even though it's still a closed beta

We aren't really the core group for this game, but I still enjoy it

Ahh damn, squads thing i don't mind so much.

But the random spawns could be good or bad depending how they worked them.
Dont suppose anyone in the beta could tell me any details on the spawning system (time takes to spawn, distance your from an objective, how close you spawn to your team mates, any other details that you wish to post) ?

it's not entirely random. You spawn at the flag closest to the "frontline" so to speak. You don't even get to choose to spawn back at base where all the vehicles are D:

For a free online game, it doesn't look bad.
Although, I wish DICE would stop screwing around and give us a real game for PC, not half a game aka BF1943.

Seems to me they are toying with the idea of some kind of massive multiplayer persistant world type of battlefield.

Whats the point of a free game with cartoon low poly grafix?
Has to be some kind of experiment IMO.

It seems to have all the core elements of an MMO.

3rd Person, Leveling, Health indicators, Low poly for large worlds.
Plenty of room for upgraded weapons once your lvl 70...

Visually, it looks alright (kind of like a poor man's TF2), but overall it's not really that interesting to me.
