That was a violent green line! lol

Now, there is the potential from this trailer of what I'm hoping for CoD:MW2. And that is for them to be a little more violent and 'real' as CoD:WW did for WW2. No more sugar coated white puffs of smoke and cartoonish like gameage. With tech advancements, things can be more realistic. I do not mean realistic as when people constantly complain in mp about realism, I just mean content wise, as in more true to life.

I agree! I for one, am sick of seeing cheap blood effects and in WaW it wasn't any better, the only thing different is legs came of, chests got an ub3r shave and bodies burned. But that's not what it's really like. Where the pissing of blood after a shot to the jugular artery in the neck? Where's the play limping like in the COD4 USMC mission after the nuke, but for MP after a leg shot. Wheres the limited movement and accuracy while your phemural artery is chopped in two? Where's going blind after an artillery shell goes off next to you and shrapnel just made you blind?

"OMG you're sick", that's the comment I'll be getting by parents or "Sensitive people". I just love things like "No bad words" in a shooting game where you KILL people. BTW for those of you idiots out there, grasp the concept of 16+ or 18+, there's a reason.

Agree with the both of you. Modern warfare ended on a note that many games choose to stray away from, it wasnt a happy feel good ending, its was real and gritty. I cant wait untill the posts like : I want to buy this for my 8 year old but i dont want him to hear bad language, can you guys make it kid friendly.

if u ask me, i think thats what they should have done a long time ago; parents b****ing up a storm because video games "make their kids" want to become serial killers, well maybe if the game was so horribly realistic to the effects of war and what really happens we wouldnt hear that little billy decided to take an ar-10 and pump rounds into ppl because he was so f***ing sacred from the video game....but what do i know, im just a simple-minded hick from BFE and have an average IQ of 5......stupid liberals :banghead::argh:

It's always possible that they could be re-branding the "Modern Warfare" title into a separate property than COD, or it could just be a marketing decision to leave it out of this trailer...even here, there were jokes about "Call of Duty 4 (or 6): Modern Warfare 2", basically getting too wordy. They may have just decided for now to go with a simple "Modern Warfare 2" to grab people's attention.

I wouldn't read too much into it...yet. If they keep doing it and we never see COD show up, then they might be going in the other direction.

Haha I love your sense of humor. Wait you were kidding right?

Because the Call of Duty series' single player does NOT get you attached to the characters. All you know is you're in WW2 or today and suddenly you spawn with a bunch of guys, get a 3 line briefing of who you are at the beginning. The gameplay is ok, it depends on the missions. Also the AI spams grenades constantly. Have you ever played Brothers in Arms?

Play that before you talk about COD like that please, make me wana kick something.
