Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
Getting bored of waiting for things to come to PC, and they're usually crappy console ports these days anyway.
Easier to just get a 360 which are cheap anyway, best of both worlds.Comment

Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
yeah console ports are just that, ports.
for example, in mirror's edge for PC, DICE didn't even bother to change the key assignments they teach you from the xbox 360 controller ones. it says press trigger buttons and top shoulder buttons which you obviously don't have if you're using keyboard and mouse. took me a while to figure out what those stupid xbox buttons are on the keyboard. it probably would take very little work to change it so it reflects your PC setup. pretty sad they can't even be bothered to do that for the PC version.Comment

Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
thankyou for re-posting my topic as news, it makes more since that way for sure.<a href="http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/270358brp.jpg" style="float:right; padding:5px;"><img src="http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/thumb_270358brp.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><a href="http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/200634brp.1235672310.jpg" style="float:right; padding:5px;"><img src="http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/thumb_200634brp.1235672310.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 website has been updated recently with a link to pre-order the game from Gamestop. According to Gamestop.com, the pre-order will ship out on September 28, 2009. Now, Gamestop has been putting release dates on barely announced games for as long as I can remember, but the fact that this is directly linked from the BFBC2 website gives it at least a little bit of weight. No information on the PC edition yet, though.

LOL are you serious? That's the funniest thing ever. I remember the Lost Planet DX10 demo I played had xbox360 icons for things like "Press B to enter" and the B looked like the B button on the xbox.yeah console ports are just that, ports.

Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
Some people may not agree with me, but I believe that DICE is still capable of making great stuff. I for one am looking forward to BC2. Its something new in the BF series (sorta) and assuming I like the demo, I would buy it. The same thing with 1943. I think its a cool concept for the times when I don't feel like a hardcore BF2 game.
Lets just give the studio a chance. Let them have the time to get it right and I have no doubt that we will have a quality product to play with.
Think about this for a second. If no one goes out and buys the stuff DICE is making now, will they even try to make a BF3, 4, 5 or whatever they will call it?Comment

Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
You can't make people happy these days. I remember when everybody found out BC was only coming out for consoles and everyone was complaining then that it wasn't coming out for pc. Now they are pleasing the pc fans with releasing BC2 for the pc and people still complain.

Well they can keep their console port if its going to be that bad.

you can keep ''filling DICE's pocket'' if you like in the hope you will get a BF4, BF5, and BF6 if you like but am not buying crap just to keep the sereis going, and am a big BF fan.

Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
People say give Dice time, NO....they have 4 years to make a new game, 7 if you go back to BF1942. I have waited and waited and it's come to the point that I have re-installed BF1942 and Desert Combat just to relive the old days in what made that game so great..maybe Dice should do that as well. Then maybe they might see what we fans want.. oh wait their Swedes most of them know everything...never mind.Comment

Re: Bad Company 2 Release Date, Maybe
If you love BF2, you're not necessarily going to like OFP2 and ArmA2. They're completely different to BF2, and require a much different approach to the game play. What I'm saying is that OFP2 and ArmA2 will have a much, much different feel to BF2, despite being aesthetically similar.
I just hope DICE have something else up their sleeve
Which I doubt.
