Speaking for singleplayer, I hope it's a little more epic. You only ever got to kill maybe 4 or 5 bad guys in one area in the first D:

Yeah, but what are we supposed to expect? We can already compare BF2 to BF:BC and see the difference. We can even see other multi-platform games and see how they compare to true PC exclusives.

I think this game will be pretty awesome if they change it for the pc. Meaning it doesn't take 20 shots to kill someone. I fear this means that the BF3 I have been waiting for forever will not come for awhile anyways.

If this game has 64 players, a lot of maps and a decent server browser I'm gonna buy it instantly. BFBC had a lot of things going for it... but it was on consoles...

BFBC had some of the best sound in a game ever, I hope DICE keeps improving on that.

I agree, but I just don't see that happening with it being multiplatform.

IW pulled it off very nicely for CoD4. The PC version has a lot of things the console versions don't have. There's mods, custom maps, free updates with new maps etc. I really hope DICE can do the same, without watering it down too much for PC. You could tell CoD4 was "consolized" even if it was a very solid game.

They did it with CoD4? I don't see any stock maps that are designed for the player cap that was raised to 50. Plus, COD4 PC has the same stock maps that the console versions do. If DICE decides to follow the same route, then we'll only have 3 stock maps.

CoD4 never was about large scale battles though - but there are lots of custom maps that easily could hold 50 players. It's just this stupid ranked/unranked crap that keeps people from playing them.

I think BF:1943 was something they originally was planning on releasing only for consoles, but decided to give it to us PC gamers anyway just so we have something to entertain ourselves with until BC2 comes along. 24 player cap seems reasonable for BF:1943 since overall it is a very small game but if they do the same with BC2... DICE were a lot worse than I thought. :|:

I thought about it for awhile, and I think it could be pretty cool. I would like things to be a lot different in this one then in the first one. I also would like to get rid of the grain effect they have. If not then at least have the option to turn it off. Just think of the possibility BC with graphics on max. I cant wait I just wish they released more screen shots.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. Operation Flashpoint 2 is set to be a multi-platform game, but it looks like it's still going to pack some serious punch.

With that being said, it's a much more "serious" game than Bad Company. My main point, however, is that it's possible to have some serious games running on all the platforms.

so this is what we get after waiting 4 years, well its better then nothing, i guess dice wants to fully take the advantage of frostbite with these games and then move to another level, which will be BF3 but not for awhile.

Ok Maybe Dice is trying to be Call of duty..24 players on Xbox/PS3,64 on PC and maybe does anyone remember them suppose leaked info of awhile back ago about this new battlefield game for the PC?Well what if that info was for Battlefield Bad Company 2 for the PC.
