Crysis Warhead was already on steam...

I know, but I was alerted prior to buying that it retained it's SecuROM DRM even though it was on Steam.

I was also alerted that GTA IV also retained it's SecuROM DRM even though it's on steam.

Now I have definitive proof that only the Steam DRM exists, which leaves me no reason not to buy Crysis Warhead.

I don't like Steam for a few reasons. First of which, I don't like the layout.

The main thing though is the fact that even programs that i've got the CD for, feel the need to open Steam. I don't like alot of programs open on my computer as is, I don't need another.

I get why some people like it and thats good for you.

I like the convenience of Steam, but its cheaper to buy the games in the store on sale at Walmart or Bestbuy.

I too hope that they release BF2 over steam, that way i can get my friends into it because its seems to be impossible to find a physical copy of it without the boosters or SF. though, i will still get games through a physical store because nothing can beat the feeling of owning the box and everything. i would just use steam to get the hard to find stuff.

I agree, it used to be cheaper to get things off Steam but since the exchange rate has gone down, they're more expensive than buying it retail.

BTW If you live in Europe, don't buy any Steam games until VALVe changes their 1 euro = 1$ policy
