Not sure, but can TGN comment if they had any restrictions on their questions about BF3, as i would be taking a guess that part of the conditions of the interview that they don't ask or publish questions about certain subjects/projects.

Perhaps as if it had to run on cards with 128mb of memory?
Hmm, maybe there is a case somewhere with certain requirements that this map has to run to, i wonder.

What happened to the other map for BF2 as didn't Dice release a statement that due to BF2 coming up to it's 3rd Birthday that it would be realeasing not one but two maps with it.

As for the patch I won't hold my breath as it been over a year almost since the said they were going to release the patch for BF2 so a patch for 2142, Im thinking the end of next year

Well you might get something like TF2 where people wait 7 years from announcement to release for a game. Or something rushed like Frontlines, or to a lesser extent, 2142. It might exist behind closed doors at DICE HQ, but it doesn't exist "officially" yet. I'd rather have them take more time and have a better game (you all know how that goes with DICE Can they do it right this time?)then be in a hurry to release it.

Maybe after 3.5 years since BF2 came out and over 2 million copies of BF2 being sold. And the million plus copies of 2142 sold. We fellow PC Battlefield players just want to know SOMETHING about BF3...tell us yes Fall of 09, Summer 2010 it will be out. Or no we are never ever making another Battlefield.

Just say something Dice. What I see on this site is a bunch of teenagers running it and are afraid to ask the hard in your face questions. Dice dangles a little tour to their facility and everyone is so excited. I think they lose their objectivity.

Is it great that they are still supporting BF2 and 2142, I am not knocking that I think it's great they are continuing to support the game to keep the fan base happy and alive.

And I am not knocking Total Bf2 and that's what it will always be to known to me. You guys do a good job of reporting the Battlefield news and give the fans a place to speak their minds. But all I see is a website that sticks up for Dice at every turn and people are starting to see that more and more.

I respect your opinion on the topic, but I have to say I disagree with what you're saying. First off, I think it's a bit silly to say because we're teenagers we don't have the ability to ask the "hard in your face" questions. Whether you are our age, or your age of 43, DICE will tell you the same thing that they've already said (the thing that's already been noted in this thread)

So it's a bit silly to attack us because of our age when that has nothing to do with it. The DICE tour was meant to get news on BF2 and 2142 mainly with a few tid bits about Heroes and Mirror's Edge. If we were to ask them any questions about BF3, guess what the answer would be? It would be something along the lines of BF3 doesn't exist. And if we were to continue to ask questions about it, they probably would get annoyed and continue to give us the same answer.

Now for the last time people, we can't ask questions about a game that does not exist! Battlefield 3, or the next BF game in the series, has yet to be announced and until then, no one is going to find out anything about it. I don't see how we're sticking up for DICE by not asking them questions about a game that doesn't exist?

I don't know how many times we have to mention it now, but enough is enough with the BF3 garbage going on in this thread. It has yet to be announced, the article doesn't feature information about it, so enjoy the information that we've been given. We don't need to hear another mention of BF3 from here on out.
