The SOCOM page at Sony has been active with bits and pieces of information from the 1.30 patch being announced. This patch is due to be released soon for SOCOM: Confrontation. Forming a party and setting up a quick match are just a couple of the new features gamers can expect in 1.30.

- Easier weapon selecting
- Faster dive to prone animation
- Ability to lean with the D-pad instead of using the motion controls
- Transparent score board that will allow the player the ability to keep moving while it is displayed
