A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is in development for the Wii and it's slated to be a fighter. It will be a four-player fighting game once it is released and may give Super Smash Brothers Brawl a run for its money.

Some of the developers working on the currently-untitled fighter have worked on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, while others come from Team Ninja of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive acclaim. That instantly gives it a chance at being better than some of the previous TMNT games, none of which have been particularly good.
GoNintendo also has word on some details we can't currently verify. According to their story, the game is being published by Ubisoft and will be released next September with an online mode that functions better than Brawl's.
