You don't need the source files to play it. Just ignore those - they're for other mappers to use.

        It's awful.

        It's glitchy and easy.

Zombies hardly use a fraction of the entrances available, and it's just a stupid map.

        example of fail:

        We got to Level 22.

Downloading now. Hopefully my gaming computer (which has been getting rather ticky lately) will cooperate and let me play.

It's not a mod, it's a map. It's part of the Nazi zombie mode (Nacht der Untoten), have you played that in co-op? As far as I know, you would just select the map and start up the co-op server as you do with others.

No, in main Solo Co-op Screen you must set the mod to Zombie - Subway, then host / connect.

Sorry for not clearing that up.

                Additional Notes :
You may create the game as normal after the
mod is active. If you wish to play alone then open console
(~) and type "/map nazi_zombie_subway". The number of
zombies increases with more players so solo play is
                feasible.

Double-check to make absolutely sure you have the right Vista pathway indicated. It's not the same as in COD4, and it's easy to use the wrong path.

                          Re: Nazi Zombie Subway Released!

Ok, I just played this map solo and made it to level 13. If you unlock some certain pathways, you can just allow them to trail you in a circle for a while, allowing you time to reload your beloved Thompson (which you WILL need early on). I tried to take some screenshots, but for some reason they're all black which is never good.

Anyway, I didn't really ever go to the upper level; I stayed mainly downstairs and just ran around, getting ammo for the Thompson and my shotgun. The BAR is also extremely effective, although it runs out of ammo very fast. As compared with the original zombie map, the zombies seem to come in greater numbers, meaning you'll be killing many, many more zombies per level, even solo (If that's the capped number of zombies, I'm worried about what happens when you co-op). By level 6, it's just a giant clusterfork.

I didn't find the hole in the wall they were coming through until level 13 when they came in behind me and cut me off. That was no good.

One time I did go to the upper level, and I found that the zombies would occasionally fall through the boards, but that's only a minor issue as they would soon be back up above them chasing me around.

All in all, definitely something to check out if you're tired of the same old house. (I'm waiting to see a zombie map with a spawn for the Browning).

I am having the same problem as the above poster with the mod not showing up. I have verified that I have placed the files in the mod folder as per instructions, but no go. I've done this on two separate systems, an XP w/sp3-32 bit and a Vista w/sp1-64 bit, but i get the same problem on both.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Navigate to where you have the mod installed on your PC, copy the pathway from the address bar, and post it here. Or take a couple screenies showing us all the pathway info.

BUG/TIP: when you approach one of the large rocks blocking a pathway and pay to clear it, stand well back. If you are too close, it is possible to get trapped between the rock and the ceiling as it rises out of the way. Sometimes you can "wiggle" out of it, but I got completely stuck once and had to quit out (that would suck if you had a good game going at the time).
