Battlefield 2 v1.5 Patch Public Beta Coming Soon

Bazajaytee of DICE has posted up some new information over on the EA forums regarding the new v1.5 patch for BF2. Take a look:

Yep there will be a public Beta before final so you can see what we have been working on. Some things you'll see/experience and other things you won't as its behind the scenes to secure Battlefield 2 accounts and playing experiences.

The beta would be for everyone that wants to install it, the more people that do the better feedback we get and we don't have an update 1.30 again. That update alone set us on the road of public beta to stop it from happening in another update. The plan is to get it out before Christmas yes.

Maybe we will see points assigned to the different awards and ribbons just like in BF2142.

I believe this is a none-too-subtle way of saying they haven't got far with BF3 so this will keep people happy for another.... 3.5 years?

You want to keep playing this? Man you really need to get out :laugh:. Actually that was the 1st thing I though of when you posted AIX as I have never heard of Allied Intent Xtended until I googled it just now. I have actually used AIX before. It is an interesting platform to work with.

I admin half a dozen AIX boxes. Mostly old hardware running old programs that are slowly being migrated to linux or Windows.

I am glad they are still supporting one of the best games ever created. Hopefully they will go the route of VALVE and support their games well forever, with continuous updates.

LOL this is EA what game u know that EA keeps up to date.We are lucky they are bringing out this patch,So do not look for any more patch after this one.

I realy realy hope they will give us armored fury and euro force for free this would bring SOOO much ppl back into the game including myself. Then they could close bf2 forever whit this update.
