Hopefully it will be like the BF1942 1.6 patch. They loaded that with all kinds of awesome stuff, new sounds, new maps, all kinds of ****, because they knew it was going to be the last BF1942 patch. they did a similar thing with BF:Vietnam. Hopefully this will be the same thing.

What would be sooo sweet is a hidden trailer for BF3!!! and some new maps and junk!
Camon DICE! we know your up to something with BF3. That would be suicide not to follow up on one of the best online shooters in history.

Beta? Sweet. But, uhm, how about maybe, I dunno, a patch log at some point? At least that way people will know what the hell they're going to be testing for.

I realy realy hope they will give us armored fury and euro force for free this would bring SOOO much ppl back into the game including myself. Then they could close bf2 forever whit this update.

I doubt this would happen unfortunately; as someone that bought both expansions I'd love to see everyone have them so that more servers would run them (besides stat-padding "time servers" that take players away from real servers).

Yeah, I saw that thread, but a vague, 'Here's a couple of things we looked at' is not by any means a patch log. Unless, of course, security updates is all they're adding in which case I fail to see how a beta could really help (unless they're hiring cheat programmers to beta test their new security measures ). Something more tangible is what I was getting at.

Yeah, I really want them to open up SF, EF, and AF content to all BF2 players. DICE, it all comes together on one DVD anymore, so why the harsh attitudes? It's old now and would help a lot to have that content available to all possible players.

Imagine how cool it would be to have all maps available on one server in one rotation...

I do agree that the patch change log is pretty sparse. If they're only dealing with the ranking exploits in this patch, I simply don't care: I play mods with their own ranking anyways.

I find it hard to believe that DICE is developing any NEW content for BF2. IMO, if there is any new content it will have been developed by the community at DICE's request. We'll have to see.

Agreed, with the exception of some sniping every now and then on a ranked Karkand server I only play AIX so when the patch is released I will be running both a 1.4 and a 1.5 install at least until I am sure I can continue to play AIX with v1.5...:salute:<O:p</O:p
