Its one of the most popular console games for a reason...

And even if you don't like the game, I must say that the story is very well told.

For a console game it's pretty good.

If it was a PC game it would fail and no one would be playing it anymore.

What are you talking about? The story is silly and rather circuitous. Even if it is told well, it is still an uninteresting story.

Have you read the books? I know how nerdy it sounds... but the books were a damn good sci-fi read, even if you've never heard of Halo before. The creativity of Bungie and the world(s) they create is outstanding.

I read the Fall of Reach book, but I assumed you were talking about the games. The books are decent, the game's version of the story less so.
