    New FourZeroTwo Blog

For those not protesting FourZeroTwo, he has a few new blogs up, but the latest one is about CoD:WaW. Maybe he is pumping out new blogs to make a 'certain' blog disappear...

Anyway, his blog talks about the Nazi Zombie mode and all its goodness:
If you’re not familiar with what the hell I’m talking about - Nazi Zombies is a bonus mode after you beat the single player campaign. Essentially, it’s you (and 3 other co-op buddies) defending an abandoned house. Every window / door is boarded up at the start and there are weapons lining the walls around the house.

Each weapon costs money, once you own a weapon, you can go to it’s place on the wall to replenish ammo (for a cost). To get the money to buy the weapons / ammo, just kill zombies. Bonus points for headshots! Every once in a while a zombie will drop a power-up (Instant Kill, Double Points, etc.) and even one that allows you to explode all zombies on screen at once (save that till you need it) which lasts for a set duration.

The zombies will come in waves, so you have to work as a team to cover all the windows and doors, and most importantly work on rebuilding the barricades the zombies tear down in their attempt to get in. Once you hit wave 10 and over, **** the windows, just find a secure location to defend from because your *** is going to be swarming with the nazi undead. It’s awesome.

    Check out the blog here.

What's your experience been like with the zombies? Let us know!

He's absolutely correct about that Level 10 part. They come in swarms, however, it is pretty easy to still hold the building with your teammates till about Level 11 or 12, then you need to move upstairs (Don't move upstairs till you REALLY need to. I say this, because, once you open the upstairs, the zombies start coming in from the upstairs windows. If you leave the upstairs locked, then the zombies won't come in that way.

In the end, its basically going to end up like this:

You and your team are stuck upstairs in a corner and you will be overran by zombies. Once your first guy falls around Level 11/12, it is basically all over. If the Nazi's were able to make Zombie Nazi's back in WWII, they would've won the war. ^_^

...and then promptly been overrun by the undead once they turned on their masters (as usual).

They were working on that you know. I was able to stop them though in RTCW.

          You all are welcome.

LOL, I try to help out where I can

So I finally unlocked the zombie mod and I played it by myself to get a feel for it. So I am shooting the heads off these things and thinking, this isnt so bad and its a lot of fun. So I get up to level 4 and having a great time. I hear them knocking on my windows I went around and killed them and was rebuilding my window. I turn around to get THUMPED in the head by a zombie and lose! You cant hear those sneaky bastages once they get in. I guess they were at the far end of the building and when I was busy at the other end taking them out they slipt through.

Im going to have to re-read my zombie tactics. I can tell you that one of those rules is not to seal yourself into a building. We already broke rule #1.

I think we should make a more solid foundation. Barriers made of wood? Pft, thats not gonna hold these buggers back! We need something like this mounted in each window...

They should have had at least one window with a mounted gun. That would have been fun to mow down rows!

I dont know if even that would be enough though.

haha, that mg would be awesome! Although, you would need others covering your back after a certain level so you don't get overrun.

Zombie Nazis is by far the strongest "new" thing to CoD. I hope to god IW puts a zombie mode in CoD6 with modern weapons. it will be tite. Also the zombie tip is! Get a group of talking fellahs, and just stay downstairs, then at level 13 go into the Fun box room (DONT GO UPSTAIRS!) Then have two guys watch the door and the other two keep them away from the three windows.
