    Halloween Festivities in MMO's

The Halloween fever is spreading fast throughout the MMO's of the world. NCsoft has a number of events going on throughout its many game series, World of Warcraft was also stricken with the Halloween spirit, and not to be outdone is Warhammer Online.

Here's a list of the known events going on throughout the MMORPG universe.
    - World of Warcraft has a few pre-Lich King events taking place. Most notably is the fact that a plague is spreading throughout the game that turns characters into the walking dead.

They also have a costume contest underway for your creative side.

    - Warhammer Online introduces spirits into the battlefields of WAR. Kill one to earn a chance at receiving special in-game rewards such as costumes and masks. Four new public quests have also been added, one quest per Tier (up to Tier 4). There are a number of other events and festivities in WAR that you won't want to miss.

    - NCsoft's Guild Wars series continues its annual Halloween tradition with the return of Mad King Thorn! Players can travel to Lion's Arch or Kamadan to see the towns decked out for the holiday. Prizes will be given out, and a number of new activities are located throughout the town. The full time line for when events will take place can be found at the Guild Wars website.

    - City of Heroes spices things up by adding in a few zombies into the city. These guys will attack both hero and villain alike. Costumes can be collected and redeemed for badges, and the player can also go trick or treeting throughout the city.

    - Lineage II players can receive a pumpkin transformation stick that will turn them into a pumpkin ghost for up to 30 days. A treat that restores vitality is also being given out.

    - Tabula Rasa players can complete a number of new Halloween themed missions throughout the game. Completion of these missions will earn the player a special emote and one of nine masks.

    - Finally, Exteel lets players have a special orange and black paint scheme applied to their Mechanaughts at no extra cost. Also, players can rack up 50% more credits and experience for each match played. More details can be found at the Exteel website.

    Happy Halloween everyone!
