It seems as though it's not all doom and gloom for those against software piracy. We've now seen reports on leaks of Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3, but these stories may start to dwindle down now with the arrest of Rodney Gray.
Gray, a former employee of Technicolor, was arrested this week after authorities started to investigate a recent string of illegal software leaks. Police nabbed Gray after he left his residence carrying a red bag.
Inside the bag authorities found over 31 different games. More games and DVD's were found after inspecting Gray's room. Nearly 100 copies of Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 were found by authorities. Over 800 different DVD's were confiscated by the police. Together, the goods were valued at over $100,000.
Technicolor is a provider of disc and game packaging. They also store and distribute titles from their Memphis location. The authorities were tipped off after a security guard at the company notified authorities of the thefts. Another man is also being investigated, but no charges have been made.
