After being released in North America for almost an entire year, Manhunt 2 will finally be released in the UK. After being effectively banned in the region by the BBFC when it was refused classification, Rockstar sought out an appeal to the Video Appeals Committee. The Committee overturned the BBFC's decision and granted the game a rating and permission to be sold.
The game will be released for the PlayStation 2, the Nintendo Wii, and the PlayStation Portable. The PS2 version will retail for £29.99, the Wii version for £34.99, and the PSP will sell for £24.99.
All three versions of the game will be released in the UK on October 31, one year and two days after its initial release in NA.
