Tom Crago, CEO of Tantalus and the president of the Game Developers' Association of Australia, said that L.A. Noire has possibly one of the largest budgets of any game anywhere in the world. Crago said, that L.A. Noire "could be the biggest budget videogame in development anywhere in the world. It would certainly... in terms of console titles, be in the top ten... LA Noire is a massive massive project."
He confirmed that the game has at least another year of development to go before it's released to the public, stating that "it's got - I'd suggest - another year or so to go."
Crago is also the first person to state that the game will be released for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Previously, it was thought that L.A. Noire would be a blockbuster PS3 exclusive. An official statement from the game's developers, Team Bondi, or Rockstar has not yet been made. For now, the multi-platform statement is merely a rumor.
