Results In For Xbox's Election Poll

The Gamerscore Blog has posted the initial results of the Xbox Live voter poll to see who Xbox Live users would vote for in the upcoming Presidential election.

Here are the first public results of the poll:
    Obama \ Biden: 43%
    McCain \ Palin: 31%
    Undecided: 13%
    Other: 13%

Beyond that, it seems as though the Xbox Live community is exercising their creative freedom and have opted to use a number of gamerpics to support their candidate of choice.
In its first two weeks of the program, more than 55,000 voter registration forms were downloaded through Xbox LIVE and xbox.com. Additionally, videos from the recent Democratic and Republican conventions were downloaded nearly 25,000 times.

To-date, the Xbox LIVE community has downloaded more than 350,000 pieces of program-specific content, ranging from candidate gamerpics to videos and Rock the Vote logos. That’s nearly five times the amount of people present at Barack Obama’s acceptance speech during the Democratic Convention in Denver.

About 2% of the 350k are actually going to vote.

Unfortunately i must agree with the poster above. Though it is heartening to see young people so engaged with politics, even if they can't vote.
