Metallica's New Album Sounds Better in Guitar Hero

Metallica's latest album, "Death Magnetic", has been found to hold a better sound quality in the Guitar Hero release when compared to the actual CD release!

The top two bars are from the PS3 version of Guitar Hero. The bottom two bars are from the same song off of the CD release. The bottom bars show a song that is heavily clipped and as a result is extremely distorted. This results in a very loud, but poor sounding song.

Right now, it seems as though that if you're a die-hard Metallica fan, the only way to get a true feel for their new album is to go ahead and download the full album as DLC for either the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of Guitar Hero.

Interesting, and kinda funny but also sad if true.

Getting their songs on Guitar Hero is a brilliant marketing move, though. I'm sure we'll see more artists/bands jumping on the bandwagon of these music-based games in the future.
