No More DLC Planned for Crackdown

Crackdown, despite an undying plea from fans, will not receive any more downloadable content updates from Realtime Worlds.

The developer is now "100% committed" to their next project, All Points Bulletin (APB). Community relations manager for Realtime Worlds, Chris Dye, went on to say the following:
Unfortunately from a Realtime Worlds perspective there will not be any additional DLC for Crackdown; the company has moved onto our next Project, APB, and is 100% committed to that and other projects yet to be announced, and as such we are not in a position to work on any new Crackdown content.

I’m sorry this isn’t exactly the news you are all waiting for, but your continued support of Crackdown is recognised by us here at Realtime Worlds. We have launched a ‘Register your interest’ page for people who wish to keep updated on our future plans and products, for which you can sign up here.
That is quite the shame for all Crackdown fans. Fret not, however, maybe one day we'll get to see a Crackdown 2! Maybe! Hopefully! Keep those fingers crossed!

For those of you not yet in the know, APB is a MMO where one side is the cops and the other side is the criminals. APB is currently exclusive to the PC and will arrive in 2009.
